| Thallus green to yellowish, smooth to somewhat bullate. Ascomata completely immersed in pseudostromata. Pseudostromata irregularly raised, cream-coloured, with yellow to orange, K+ purple and UV+ red pigment. Hamathecium not inspersed. Ascospores 9–13-septate,
37–52 × 8–11 μm. CHEMISTRY: Thallus UV–, K–; pseudostromata containing yellow to orange, K+ purple, UV+ red anthraquinone. |

| A common, corticolous species in forest habitats across northern W.A., N.T. and eastern Qld. Pantropical, mostly in open, lowland areas. | ||
